Extended FAQ – WLS Premium Line
How do these products differ from classic WLS multivitamins?
Our classic WLS products are designed to provide a broad and reliable nutritional foundation.
This new line has been deliberately developed differently and offers a convenient once daily solution. The focus is on simplified intake, compact formulations and pleasant tasting dosage forms.
Both lines have their own place within our assortment, depending on personal preference and daily routine.

Who is this special line suitable for?
These products are mainly intended for patients after gastric bypass or sleeve surgery, for people who prefer a once daily intake and for those who have difficulty swallowing large capsules.
They are also suitable for patients who value taste and ease of use.
Why only one tablet per day?
Many traditional supplements are divided over multiple intakes per day.
This line has been specifically developed so that all important nutrients are combined into one daily dose. This makes it easier to use and reduces the number of intake moments in daily life.
Are chewable tablets as suitable as capsules?
Chewable tablets and capsules mainly differ in their dosage form, not fundamentally in their function.
Many patients prefer chewable tablets because they are easier to take and do not require swallowing large capsules. This often makes them easier to integrate into daily life.
The final choice depends on personal preference.
Do the products contain sufficient iron?
The multivitamins in this line contain a carefully selected amount of iron that aligns with common bariatric recommendations.
Whether this amount is sufficient always depends on the individual situation and should be monitored through medical follow up.
How should I take the products?
The multivitamin is taken once daily.
Calcium should be divided into multiple intakes throughout the day, 2 to 3 times. It is important to maintain a time gap between calcium and iron.
The exact routine can be adapted to personal preference.
Can I use these products long term?
Many patients use bariatric supplements long term as part of their daily routine.
Are there taste differences between the variants?
Yes, this line has been developed with a strong focus on taste.
The Orange variant is often experienced as fruity and lightly fresh, while MultiFruit is slightly rounder and more fruit forward. Calcium variants differ per flavour, such as mint or cinnamon.
This allows everyone to choose a variant that best matches their personal preference.
Why are there no sample packs?
Because these products are produced in limited batches, sample packs are unfortunately not available. The smaller pack sizes, such as 30 pieces, are therefore intended to give you the opportunity to try the product first.
Can I combine these products with other WLS products?
In principle, different products within the WLS assortment can be combined.
However, it is important to avoid unnecessary overlap in certain nutrients. If in doubt, feel free to contact our customer service.
Why are some flavours only available for a limited time?
Some products are intentionally produced as limited editions.
This allows us to test new flavours, produce smaller batches and respond flexibly to customer preferences. Some flavours also fit better with certain seasons.
What type of calcium is used?
Within the WLS assortment, different calcium sources are used depending on the product and application.
These include calcium compounds such as citrate or carbonate, as well as calcium based on milk minerals such as TruCal. The selected form is part of the specific product formulation.
What is TruCal?
TruCal is a calcium source derived from milk minerals.
It is a form of calcium that exists within a natural structure, similar to how it is found in milk. This form is used in supplements as an alternative to traditional calcium compounds.
Is milk calcium suitable after bariatric surgery?
Yes, milk calcium can, like other calcium forms, be part of a supplement routine after bariatric procedures.
More important than the specific form are the total daily intake, distribution throughout the day and individual tolerance. It is also important to maintain a time gap from iron intake.
Why does WLS use different calcium forms?
There is no single calcium form that is optimal in all situations.
That is why we deliberately offer different options within our assortment, so users can choose what best fits their personal preference and daily routine.
How should I take calcium after surgery?
In general, it is recommended to divide the daily amount of calcium into multiple intakes, avoid taking calcium at the same time as iron and integrate intake into your daily routine.
The exact approach may vary per individual.
Why are these products more expensive than classic WLS products?
Within WLS, we offer two types of products.
The classic line is simple and affordable. This new line is designed for extra convenience and a pleasant taste. The price is slightly higher because these products:
- are easier to use, for example once daily
- often taste better, such as chewable tablets
- are made with different and sometimes more expensive ingredients
- are produced in smaller batches
Does more expensive mean better?
Not necessarily better, but positioned differently.
The base line is functional and price focused, while the special line is more focused on comfort, taste and ease of use.
Which option suits best depends on personal preference and usage.
Why are there both cheaper and more expensive options?
We intentionally offer a broad range to match different needs.
Some customers prefer a lower price and choose classic formats, while others value convenience and taste more.
What exactly determines the higher price?
The price is influenced by several factors, such as specialised formulations, smaller production batches, more complex production processes and taste optimised compositions.
Can I combine these products with lower priced WLS products?
Yes, this is generally possible.
Many customers combine different products within the assortment. It is important to be mindful of potential overlap in nutrients.
